Rave Kleidung hat ihren Ursprung in den 80er Jahren. Die Klamotten passten sich an die Freiheitsbewegung und an die verschiedenen Arten der Techno Musik an. Die Kleidung war so vielfältig und bunt wie die ganze Bewegung, sodass die Musik und dieser Trend bis heute ein fester Bestandteil unserer Mode ist. Sogar Designer-Marken wie Balenciaga brachten eine „Techno“ Kollektion raus und der Industrial angehauchte Stil der Rave Klamotten inspirierten Designer wie Virgil Abloh, Heron Preston und viele weitere zu ihren Werken.  Der individuelle Trend unterschied sich von der Region und der Szene, doch die Message war überall gleich: „Love, Peace and Unity!“

Der Beginn der Rave Bewegung fand ihren Ursprung Mitte der 80er Jahre. Zu der Zeit waren die Klamotten sehr industriell inspiriert. Es wurden Kleidungsstücke wie Gasmasken, Sicherheitswesten und ganze Schutzanzüge getragen und mit Accessoires wie Pfeifen, Schnullern und sogar Staubsaugern kombiniert. Der Ursprung dieses Styles kam aus den zahlreichen „Underground-Raves“, wo sich viele Menschen in Lagerhallen, Kellern oder draußen im Freien trafen, um tagelang zu feiern.  Mit dem riesigen Hype der „Acid-House“ Bewegung in den jungen 90er Jahren passte sich der Style der Raver an. Das Thema rund um den bekannten gelben Smiley wurde in den Klamotten deutlich sichtbar und mit dem Anstieg der Nutzung von Drogen wie LSD wurden die Klamotten immer bunter. In den 90er Jahren entwickelten sich viele verschiedene Stile, die bekanntesten waren dabei die übergroßen Sportanzüge und weite Schlaghosen, die zahlreichen Fetischstile und verschiedene DIY Klamotten. Die bunten Klamotten waren sehr lange ein fester Bestandteil jeder Rave-Party bis sich durch Clubs wie das Berghain oder Veranstaltungen wie das Sensation-Festival der Kleidungsstil grundlegend änderte. Der minimalistische schwarze „Berlin-Style“ ist in den Techno Clubs angekommen. Ohne ein sogenanntes schwarzes Kinky-Outfit kam man auch nicht mehr in die Clubs rein. Bis heute ist dies einer der modernsten Techno Styles, vor allem mit Industriellen und bunten Accessoires kombiniert, trifft dieser Style immer den Geschmack der Techno Fans. Auch der moderne Streetwear-Style hat sich immer mehr in der Rave Szene etabliert und ist heute ein fester Bestandteil der Kultur. The history of rave clothing

Rave clothes have their origin in the 80s. The clothes adapted to the freedom movement and to the different types of techno music. The clothes were as diverse and colorful as the whole movement, so the music and this trend is still an integral part of our fashion today. The beginning of the rave movement started in the mid 80s. At that time the clothes were very industrial inspired. Clothes like gas masks, safety vests and whole protective suits were worn and combined with accessories like whistles, pacifiers and even vacuum cleaners. The origin of this style came from the numerous "underground raves", where many people met in warehouses, basements or outdoors to party for days.  With the huge hype of the "Acid House" movement in the young 90s, the style of the ravers adapted. The theme around the famous yellow smiley became clearly visible in the clothes and with the rise of the use of drugs like LSD, the clothes became more and more colorful. In the 90s, many different styles developed, the most famous being the oversized sports suits and wide bell-bottoms, the numerous fetish styles and various DIY clothes. The colorful clothes were an integral part of every rave party for a very long time until clubs like the Berghain or events like the Sensation Festival fundamentally changed the clothing style. The minimalistic black "Berlin style" arrived in the techno clubs. Without a so-called black kinky outfit you also couldn't get into the clubs anymore. Until today this is one of the most modern techno styles, especially combined with industrials and colorful accessories, this style always meets the taste of techno fans. Modern streetware style has also become more and more established in the rave scene and is now an integral part of the culture.
